Lately I have been doing all that I can to save money. I have searched out the cheapest auto insurance that I could find. I have stopped eating out and make all my meals from scratch. I do not join my friends going out unless it is cheap or free. I make all my home meals from scratch as well. You would be surprised how much you can save making things from scratch.
For example you may pay twenty bucks for a made birthday cake. You might pay six for a cake mix and a few for frosting. On the other hand you will likely pay under five buckss for a cake and frosting if you make them all from scratch yourself. This goes for many things, even salads. There are no end of recepes online to use and they are pretty much all good that I have found. Which makes planning famly meals fun.
Another way to save money on food is to buy things in season and then freeze them. Some things like letuce can not be frozen but many things can. Simple to a search and find if something can be frozen and if you need to do anything to prepare it fro freezing like dice it first.
When saving money on bills you should shop around when you can like with insurance. For other things then you may want to try and concerve like with electricty and water. To save a bit of money on electricty let the sun brew your tea. Keep you lights off as much as possible and open the windows to let a room coold off, or in the winder just the drapes to let the sun shine in and warm things up then close them just before dark to keep the heat in.
